Proof built around real-world use
ODS grows out of work done with real operators and teams, where systems have to hold up in practice, not just on paper.
MatMind (product proof)
MatMind Jiu Jitsu app is an internal product from ODS built to help grapplers organize, revisit, and apply what they learn in training. It started with a familiar problem: after class, important details were getting lost across notes, videos, memory, and time.
The project explores a calmer, more structured way to keep track of what you're working on, what you've covered, and what's next—without turning training into homework.
For ODS, MatMind is proof of how the studio approaches real-world problems: start from the friction people feel, understand the workflows around it, and build a tool or system that makes the work easier to follow in practice.
Service-business discovery and systems work
ODS has supported owners and teams as they open locations, refine communication, and bring their systems closer to how they actually want to operate. That has included tightening workflows, improving handoffs, and adjusting customer touchpoints so the everyday experience feels more consistent.
What this work demonstrates
Across both product and service work, the throughline is the same: helping people run something real with a bit more clarity and a bit less friction. The goal is not to add more tools or more noise, but to shape what you already have into something your team and customers can trust.
